Woody was the shining star of Emeraldcity throughout his show career. He was well known for his outgoing personality in the showring, his presence in the ring and his magnificent headpiece.

Woody's show record at just 18 months of age is impressive, and indicative of his outstanding quality.  By that age he had won 37 Classes In Group, 10 Classes In show, 5 r/u BEST IN GROUP, 7 BEST IN GROUP & 1 BEST IN SHOW awards, including Best Puppy In Show at the prestigious Spring Fair Dog Show, with an entry of almost 2500 dogs.

Woody is correct to the country of origin (UK) cairn terrier standard at 11.5 inches high, & exhibits excellent balance & structure. He has a thick, harsh brindle coat, abundant undercoat, correct bite, correctly set lovely small ears, dark hazel eyes, a good tail set and a super outgoing typical cairn personality.

Woody has now been retired from the ring for stud duties and is contributing to the Emeraldcity and Joymont breeding programs. He resides with Emeraldcity My Amethyst (Amy) in Canberra, and they are wonderful friends and companions for each other, and the family they live with.
